Home Energy Assistance Program - This application can be completed online.

SNAP Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Food Stamps) - This application can be completed online. 

Grand Island Ministerium - Could be contacted regarding assistance for families in need. 

Dash's Grocery Store -  For those with transportation issues. Order groceries online.

Social Security Income - If you qualify for this benefit, you could be entitled to monthly cash assistance for both yourself and your dependents. This application can be completed online. Phone 1-800-772-1213.
 
Grand Island Neighbors Foundation - For temporary financial help or assistance at the food pantry.

WNY 211 -  2-1-1 WNY is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing information on health and human service programs available to assist you.

Erie County Department of Social Services  - To engage people in need and provide a broad range of efficient and effective assistance and services with community partners to facilitate a better future for the people of Erie County.

Child & Family Services - A not-for-profit family service agency offering a wide variety of services including family life education. Offering educational support services to students and family to promote personal and academic success.

Family Help Center -  A not-for-profit agency, available 24 hours, 365 days a year for family crisis intervention and support services in Erie County. They offer immediate assistance with no application procedures, no eligibility requirements and no waiting period.

National Parent Help Line - Parents Anonymous: National Parent Helpline provides emotional support for parents and caregivers. Go to "Find Support" for a directory of parenting services in your state and for parenting materials.

Healthy Children - HealthyChildren.org is the official website for parents from the American Academy of Pediatrics. This website provides resources on health issues; symptoms; healthy living, nutrition, sports and fitness; safety and prevention, safety tips at home, play and on the go.

Insure Kids Now - lnsureKidsNow.gov provides information about Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) services for families who need health insurance coverage. These programs are designed to be affordable for families who are not able to afford health insurance coverage in the private market or do not have coverage available to them.
